No mops or buckets necessary at Unleashed Pets! Our facility utilizes an integrated system that provides disinfectant, fresh water, and powerful vacuuming. The system thoroughly disinfects and leaves surfaces nearly 98% dry upon completion. Dry floors mean no risk of residue burns on your pets’ paws from leftover disinfectant. All soiled water and organic materials are effectively vacuumed and disposed of through the specialized system. This guarantees that our facility stays immaculate and entirely odor-free every time. We’ve equipped our facility with specialized UV lighting in our HVAC systems, designed specifically for animal care environments. Preventing the spread of infectious diseases here requires a comprehensive approach, and UV disinfection is a crucial element. Our UV technology kills more than 99.9% of tested viruses and bacteria, including Bordetella, canine influenza, distemper, and more.

Humidity fosters the growth of bacteria, which is why each of our HVAC systems is equipped with a dehumidifier. This essential component keeps the air dry, preventing bacterial growth and spread in the facility.

Our indoor playrooms feature cushioned rubber flooring designed to protect your pets’ joints while they enjoy their playtime. The rubber is fully sealed, so there’s no place for pesky bacteria to hide. Even the concrete underneath gets the same treatment, all to make sure your pups have a clean, comfy spot to romp to their hearts’ content.

Our outdoor play area boasts a complete coverage of pet-specific antimicrobial artificial turf, designed with excellent drainage beneath. This ensures our play space remains free from standing water or mud, which can promote the growth of bacteria and parasites. Additionally, our turf can be fully disinfected, whereas grass and dirt can not. All the fun of outside play with less mess and germs!

All of our suites have been expertly crafted by Midmark, a trusted leader in animal care equipment. Each suite has a specially designed sani seal, which keeps liquids from seeping into neighboring suites, stopping bacteria and viruses from spreading. Every suite is also fully caulked for added protection and extra peace of mind. It all adds up to a clean, comfy suite where your pup can feel right at home.

In our boarding area and self-wash, we use tough, easy-to-clean epoxy flooring. Known for their remarkable durability, epoxy floors can be disinfected repeatedly without any concerns. This material effectively seals the floors, preventing bacteria, parasites, and viruses from embedding themselves within the surface. Even the concrete in the common areas of the facility is completely sealed, making cleanup quick, easy, and extra effective.

We go the extra mile to keep every corner of our facility clean and safe. Our high-temp dishwasher ensures all food and water bowls, enrichment items, and toys are germ-free. Blankets and towels are washed in hot water with an extra boost of pet-safe laundry sanitizer. The cleaning products we use are specifically formulated for pet care, proven to eliminate bacteria, parasites, and viruses commonly found in pet care settings.

Alongside the vaccines mandated by the state, we also require that every pet visiting Unleashed Pets is vaccinated against leptospirosis, a bacterial illness that can be dangerous for both dogs and humans if left untreated. We also require annual negative fecal tests. Parasites are one of the biggest challenges at dog parks, and some can even affect humans, so this extra step keeps pups and people safe and healthy.
